I love watching soccer. After the Russia World Cup in 2018 I became a fan of the Croatia national team and especially its captain Luka Modrić. His strong sense of responsibility as a team captain, hard work for his dream and love for his country have greatly inspired me, so I created a few fan art pieces to express my respect for him. The realistic pieces on the side are created with pencils and pencil crayons. The cartoons in the middle are created with Adobe Illustrator and After Effects. The outfits he is wearing are the two Croatia team jerseys. I have drawn him as a roly-poly. This is inspired by the impressive fact of him, that even though he doesn’t seem to have a large body, it is really hard for other soccer players to push him over during a tackle.
