COMPARATIVE STUDY

 The Comparative Study is a project from the IB (International Baccalaureate) Visual Arts curriculum in which I  was asked to do research and present a comparative analysis of three works by at least two artists from different cultural contexts.

 

The three artists I have chosen for this project are Henry Tanner, Roger Shimomura and Felix Nussbaum. The PDF of my completed project is included down below.

As an HL (Higher Level) student, I was further required to articulate the connections between the works examined in my comparative study and my own art-making, in order to demonstrate my ability to apply theory into practice.
